The deadline to submit workshop proposals for the 13th IACC is 30 May

Dear friends of the anti-corruption movement,

With six months left until the 13th IACC, it gives us great pleasure to issue a "step by step" guide to assist you in preparing and submitting your workshop proposal, along with an update of the conference agenda and confirmed plenary speakers.

Should you have any questions plesase write to: iacc@transparency.org

1) How to prepare and submit your workshop proposal

Step 1. Get familiar with the Conference Framework:

Visit www.13iacc.org/workshops and read the Conference Programme Framework. It contains all necessary information regarding the:
  • conference theme, rationale and objectives
  • thematic streams (under which  the workshops will be grouped)
  • suggested workshop formats
  • guidelines for submitting workshop proposals
  • workshop proposal forms

Step 2. Prepare your workshop proposal form:

Choose your topic: To identify your field of interest, please read the thematic streams and various topics that are grouped under each steam.

We welcome suggestions for new topics! Please email us at: iacc@transparency.org

Arrange and confirm your workshop team: It is time to invite those who have an interest or expertise in the topic of your workshop. Since we are six months away from the IACC, please ensure that the dates of the Conference are already marked in their calendars. To help you organise your team we have prepared guidelines for each suggested role. The various roles are outlined in the Conference Programme Framework:
  • workshop coordinator
  • workshop panellists
  • workshop moderator
  • workshop facilitator (for training sessions)
  • workshop rapporteur

To help you complete the workshop proposal form, guidelines can be found in the Conference Programme Framework.

Step 3. Submit your workshop proposal form:

Please remember that the deadline for submitting workshop proposals is 30 May. Complete and send the form via email to
iacc@transparency.org before 30 May. The form is available to download at: http://www.13iacc.org/workshops.
